ApexUninstaller ("the App") is a macOS utility that helps users remove applications and selected associated leftover files. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Data Collection

We do NOT collect any personal data. The App operates entirely offline on your device.

No analytics: We do not track usage patterns or behavior.
No network requests: The App does not connect to the internet.
No account required: No sign-up, login, or registration needed.
No cloud storage: All data stays on your Mac.

3. File System Access

The App requests access only when needed for cleanup features, including ~/Library and optional app scan folders you choose. This access is:

Granted explicitly by you via macOS standard folder picker (NSOpenPanel).
Stored as a security-scoped bookmark on your device only.
Revocable at any time from the App's settings or by resetting permissions.
Used solely to find applications, leftovers, and selected user-level junk files you choose to review or clean.

4. Notifications

The App may send local notifications to remind you about cleanup opportunities. These notifications:

Are generated locally on your device.
Do not send any data to external servers.
Can be disabled in the App's Settings.

5. Menu Bar Feature

If enabled, the App displays an icon in your menu bar for quick access. This feature:

Runs entirely on your device.
Does not collect any additional data.
Can be disabled in the App's Settings.

6. Data Storage

The App stores only:

Your language preference (in UserDefaults).
Security-scoped bookmarks for Library and optional app scan folders (in UserDefaults).
Cleanup history and ignored app identifiers (locally in UserDefaults).
Feature settings like menu bar, scheduled scan, and notification preferences (in UserDefaults).

Text reports are written only to locations you choose with the macOS save dialog. No personal information, file contents, or browsing data is ever collected or transmitted.

7. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

4. Dữ liệu lưu cục bộ

Ứng dụng chỉ lưu tuỳ chọn ngôn ngữ, bookmark quyền truy cập, lịch sử dọn dẹp, danh sách app bỏ qua và cài đặt tính năng trong UserDefaults trên máy của bạn. Không có nội dung file, dữ liệu duyệt web hay thông tin cá nhân nào được gửi ra ngoài.

5. Thông báo

Ứng dụng có thể gửi thông báo cục bộ để nhắc bạn về cơ hội dọn dẹp. Các thông báo này:

Được tạo cục bộ trên thiết bị của bạn.
Không gửi bất kỳ dữ liệu nào đến máy chủ bên ngoài.
Có thể tắt trong Cài đặt của Ứng dụng.

6. Tính năng thanh menu

Nếu được bật, Ứng dụng hiển thị icon trên thanh menu để truy cập nhanh. Tính năng này:

Chạy hoàn toàn trên thiết bị của bạn.
Không thu thập bất kỳ dữ liệu bổ sung nào.
